A floor that withstands almost anything

Rubber has a dense, closed surface that is particularly resistant to everyday use. Depending on the collection and the condition of the floor, some rubber floor coverings can also be renovated rather than replaced.

Rubber combines very high resistance with the comfort of a resilient floor covering. It is used in heavily frequented places such as stations, airports, schools, shops and even some areas of ice rinks. Its dense surface stands up particularly well to heavy use and everyday marks. Softer than tiles or natural stone, it also helps to reduce footstep noise and offers pleasant comfort when standing for long periods.

Rubber is also easy to maintain and does not require any additional surface protection. Depending on the product and its condition, a renovation can be carried out without having to apply a varnish afterwards. And while most people know the traditional black studded rubber, today's collections open up a whole new world: contemporary colours, smooth or structured surfaces and designs inspired by stone, slate or terrazzo.

The noraplan® collections are mainly available in sheet form and are widely used in schools, hospitals and other high-traffic buildings. The norament® collections, meanwhile, are primarily available as tiles. Today, they offer a wide range of designs, including slate, terrazzo and stone effects. This makes them an attractive alternative to traditional tiles for kitchens, bathrooms and toilets, as well as many other rooms.

Several installation methods are possible depending on your needs: glued sheets or tiles, or the removable Loose Lay version.

Your questions about rubber

Yes. Some collections are particularly interesting in rooms where you would traditionally think of tiles, such as the kitchen, bathroom or WC. Designs inspired by slate, terrazzo or stone keep a mineral look with the comfort of a resilient floor covering.
Rubber is particularly easy to maintain and generally does not require any additional surface protection. Depending on the product and the condition of the floor, a renovation or spot repair may also be possible.
Yes, and the possibilities are very numerous today. In addition to the classic studded floor, rubber is available with smooth, structured or hammered surfaces and in a wide range of colours. Some collections even reproduce the look of slate, stone or terrazzo. The best way is to come and see and touch the samples in our showroom.
No. Its resistance explains why it is often found in schools, hospitals, stations, shops and other heavily frequented buildings. But its new colours and finishes also make it an interesting solution for the home, especially in a kitchen, entrance, bathroom or WC.
This is often possible in renovation projects, but it depends on the existing floor covering and its condition. The subfloor must be stable, clean and sufficiently level. We check the floor on site and determine the preparation required before installation.
