A versatile floor for many projects

LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) belongs to the family of resilient floor coverings. Made up of several layers, including a decorative layer and a protective wear layer, it can realistically reproduce the look of wood, stone, concrete or tiles.

Several installation methods are possible depending on the product and the project: glued-down installation, floating click installation or removable Loose Lay installation.

Thanks to their low thickness, LVT floors are particularly attractive for renovation. Depending on the condition of the subfloor and the product chosen, they can often be laid over an existing floor covering and are also suitable for wet rooms.

Why choose LVT or a similar alternative?

Your questions about vinyl flooring (LVT)

The quality of an LVT floor cannot be judged on its appearance alone. The wear layer, the stability of the product, emission certifications, the quality of the design and its suitability for the intended use are all important criteria. We advise you according to the room, the level of foot traffic and the requirements of your project.
No. Purline is not LVT in the strict sense: unlike conventional PVC-based vinyl, it is made from bio-polyurethane and renewable and mineral raw materials. Both nevertheless offer similar uses and designs, which is why we present them together as alternatives for many projects.
Glued-down LVT is fixed directly to the subfloor and has a low thickness. Click LVT is installed floating thanks to an interlocking system. Loose Lay is a removable or self-weighted solution, depending on the product. The best choice depends on the subfloor, the room and how it is used.
Yes, this is often possible if the existing tiling is stable and the subfloor can be properly prepared. Depending on the product chosen, it may be necessary to treat the joints or apply a levelling compound to obtain a sufficiently flat surface.
Yes, depending on the product and the installation system, a damaged plank or tile can often be replaced locally without redoing the entire floor.
A PVC floor is not harmful by definition. The quality of the product, its composition and above all its emissions into indoor air are important criteria. The floor coverings we offer are selected in particular on the basis of the applicable standards and certifications and are designed for use in indoor spaces.

For your interior, we favour quality, low-emission products from recognised manufacturers.
